How good would it be to have all of the directories and events dedicated to Ukraine all in one? This site is built by Ikonik Media – one girl with 10 years of experience in building websites. This is something she wanted to give back to the Ukrainian community. Moving to a different country is difficult (she knows because as a young girl, she moved to Singapore, and then Australia). It is especially difficult when you move because it is unsafe to stay home.
Over the years, she found it difficult to find events and organisations dedicated to Ukraine and a directory that includes everything needed.
There are sites to help Ukrainians find jobs, but mostly in Europe. Some Ukrainian organisations have started adding events, but there is no option for listings. There are some directories being built in Australia but do not include a map or are not fully dedicated to Ukrainians, and friends. And non of them have an option for translation.
There are many great Facebook pages but it can be tricky to search for what you are looking for.
She can see how this site can grow – where people can sell their handmade goods, find places, list their fundraisers and more!
