There were about 30 to 50 thousand people with Ukrainian heritage in Australia before full scale invasion on 24th February, 2022. From those, about 8 thousand were born in Ukraine. In the time of writing this, just in 3 months, 8 thousand more displaced Ukrainian citizens came to Australia to seek refuge. Most had a comfortable life back at home and are skilled professionals.
From beauty services to IT but English could be a problem. This website is created as a volunteer project by a Ukrainian girl who lives in Melbourne but was born in Poltavska oblast and lived in Kyiv. There, is where her heart still is. I hope that this site helps people connect to community and find each other in these difficult and stressful times.
